A MARRIED teacher has confessed giving oral sex to a pupil but claimed she was pressured into it by the teen.
ustine Karen Nelson, 31, claimed she was manipulated by the boy after forming an innocent friendship with him in Fresno, California.
She took to the witness stand to defend herself against felony counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and oral copulation.
Nelson testified the two bonded over basketball – before they began direct messaging on Instagram.
The court heard she sought out the teen’s attention as an ego-boost amid marriage troubles.
He then managed to blackmail her into giving him oral sex after threats and fears she would lose custody of her child, she claimed.

Nelson admitted she sent the boy a photo of herself at a bachelorette party “for attention”.
Asked if she thought it was appropriate to send the photo, Nelson responded: “No”.
She said: “For starters, I'm married and I knew it would hurt my husband. And I'm a teacher.”
And she claimed the teen spontaneously kissed her in her classroom, leaving her “upset” – but she didn’t report it as he apologised.

Nelson claimed the pupil, 14, would eventually start demanding oral sex – and she feared he would expose their “inappropriate” friendship.
She claimed one day the pupil came to her classroom and pulled his pants down.
The boy then grabbed her head and demanded she perform oral sex on him.
“I just wanted to get it over with,” said Nelson, sobbing on the witness stand. “I was so sick and tired.”
She added: “I thought he would stop asking me and just go away. I didn't want my baby to be taken away.”
The student previously took to the stand and claimed Nelson had initiated the sexual relationship – offering to perform oral sex.
Police say that the case came to light when the student posted nude photos of Nelson on social media.
Nelson faces up to 14 years in prison and be required to register as a sex offender in convicted.
