A MAN has been jailed after spending nearly a year peeing, pooping and bathing in his apartment building’s water tank - because he was angry at his neighbours.
The culprit identified only as Lin, 69, was captured on CCTV climbing up a ladder to the tank in the building once a month holding a plastic bag.
His sickening actions were exposed when some of the residents living in the building in Taichung, Taiwan fell ill and suffered from allergies after drinking the water.
Others reported that the tap water had a foul smell, according to EBC News.
Laboratory tests on the water revealed there was a high level of ammonia in it - which is created when poo and urine combine.
When the shocking results were released the building’s management company lodged a police report.

Lin reportedly leased part of his home to telecommunications companies and allowed them to install equipment without informing his neighbours.
His neighbours lodged a report and managed to get the equipment removed.
Lin was said to have been upset by the loss of income and decided to get his revenge on his neighbours.
Lin apparently told his neighbours when he was confronted about his actions: “You should count yourselves fortunate that you weren’t poisoned to death."
CCTV footage captured Lin climbing the ladder between June 2017 and July 2018.
Lin, who also damaged the lift control panel, was sentenced to 20 months’ jail and a fine of around £4,000.
