I free climbed my ladder to fix the eaves trough last weekend and was exhilarated to make it without falling.

I saw this in theaters and was sweating and on the edge of my seat. It's so good, the climbing is amazing, the chromatography is great (Jimmy Chin also made another fantastic film Meru which I highly recommend0), and the human story of Alex Honnold (and his GF who he couldn't seem to care less about  ) is fascinating too.

I know one of Honold's buddy's from BC, Will Stanhope, who does similar but smaller free solo climbs (Honnold asked Will if he wanted to come on this project but Will said absolutely not  ). They're a different breed. Not full of bravado like other top athletes, they're all a bit weird and stick to their own people. Interesting cats.

Wait wait hold up there a minute. It said - They climbed the nose route in less than five days.

Those are the morons that somehow sleep cliffside while on the climb?

:hand: screw that

Bivouacking is a general term for making temp camps. Guys in war typically called it that.

This shit however is known as Suspended Insanity  Nothing like waking up to the sound of the wind whistling because one of your lines let go.
