MSNBC host Donny Deutsch went on a lengthy rant against President Donald Trump and his white supporters Wednesday, suggesting that another Holocaust was in the making under his leadership.

Deutsch, who hosts Saturday Night Politics, was fired up over the fallout from Trump's widely criticized tweets telling four minority Democratic congresswomen to "go back" to their countries of origin and fix their governments; three of the congresswomen were born in the United States.

"Enough is enough, and I want to talk to the white people out there. OK? I want to talk to wealthy, white people, because I've had it. I've had discussions when I've talked to friends, people I know. He's good for the economy, he's good for the economy, they're all jerks, anyway," Deutsch said on Deadline: White House in a mocking voice.

Deutsch said "shame on" anyone who wasn't poor and supporting Trump.

"If you are on a subway train, and you saw four white nationalists screaming at an African-American woman ‘go home, go back where you came from.' If you vote for Trump, it's like you're going like this," he said, putting his head down.

"We are heading to such a dangerous place, and guess what? You look at history, it can happen here," he said. "Maybe it's the Jews next. Oh, oh, I forgot, his daughter is married to a Jew. Who says—and I come from a place, a group of people where it happened to, six million of them, and I'm not saying Trump is that person.

"But every playbook that's happening, every single playbook, creating the other. Getting rich people to look the other way. Getting people to not trust the press. Getting the judicial system in your pocket. Getting an entire branch of government, the legislative branch, the Republicans to just march with you. To act above the law. To say that you're going to put your adversaries in jail."

Deutsch said it was time for white people to look at their children and decide who they were.

The show's host, Nicolle Wallace, flatters her guests each day as some of her "favorite reporters and friends" and frequently laughs along with and gushes over their progressive points. However, she frowned as Deutsch spoke and moved immediately on to another guest.

Deutsch has called Trump a "dictator," "evil," and "a pig," who might lead the country to civil war. However, he said in March he would vote for him over a socialist before Morning Joe‘s Joe Scarborough cut him off and told him to see the error of his ways. Deutsch sheepishly said he wouldn't vote for Trump after all.

Trump is backpeddling after that rally where he inspired the chant - send them home, send them home. He does realize those recording devices picked up his statement right before?

He'd look good with a little mustachio on that lip

If we sent Omar back home, she would be sent back to Minnesota. How is it racist to say send her back to Minnesota? Is it racist to make her live in brutally cold winters on her own dime instead of in the milder climate of Washington DC on the taxpayers' dime?

I believe the intended meaning was go back to a different country because he didn't realize some were born in America.

DemonGeminiX

The thing Trump actually said wasn't racist at all. He didn't say "send her/them back". He said, and I'm paraphrasing, that if the ideas that some of these Democratic Representatives have were so good, then why don't they go and implement those ideas in the shithole countries that their families ran from to come to America? Implement their ideas in those countries and let's see the results.

As for the people chanting "send her/them back", it wasn't Trump, and what's he going to say to the thousands of people to go to his rally, "No"? I don't think so. In any case, technically speaking, if they were "sent back", then they'd be sent back to which ever part of the US they came from. In Omar's case, Minnesota.

And you should hear some of the shit that Democrat supporters chant. Total double standard on the media's part.

Yes I heard exactly what he said and what the supporters said on the news last night. I disagree about his comments not being racist as the context was plain to me.

As for the technically speaking part about Omar being from Minnesota, that's where the whole racist claim comes from  They are assuming she is not from the United States because of her look.

From what I saw and heard, Trump implied the candidates were not naturalized Americans by referring to their families coming from shithole countries and going back there to attempt policy. It does reek of third world slamming, correct or not. Similar to some of the news outlets who reported the story, it wasn't much of a leap to consider the comments made as racist. The issue isn't him corralling the crowd, it's him inspiring the mindset. If you didn't see it that way I understand

And I'm sure the dems do similar during their chants, but this story is about Trump and his supporters making possible racist vocalizations in this enlightened age of 2019

I don't like her either. So what? Like Hal, I've heard exactly what Trump said, timed the 13-14 second pause on his part when the chant started, and now have heard him say the chant is acceptable. His supporters can sing and dance and wet their pants about this trying to justify his BLATANT* racism , but his words and actions show his true colors.

I'm somewhere between one-quarter and one-half Irish, and if I'd ever need a reminder about how racism effected the wave of Irish immigrants that came here all I need to do is drive the 75 miles or so up to Jim Thorpe, PA and take another tour of the old prison where they hung the Molly Maguires. Shame on our President!

*Like all "sane geniuses" I feel a need to capitalize words to be sure my intended readers understand my messages. How sadly condescending.

I don't get worked up over Trump's tweets, so I guess I don't get it. His tweets have been of almost zero value from the start. I think his strategy all along has been that the one who stays in the news wins, and statistically, he's correct. The media, in its role as sworn enemy of the POTUS (really disturbing) did the exactly wrong thing by flooding every inch of media with repeats of Trump's every letter.

The tweet was dumb. Okay. That's nice.

The chant was dumb. Okay. That's nice.

Has congress done anything this week? Has the President? Because you wouldn't know it from the news coverage who is obsessed with this gotcha game.

Oh please. EVERYTHING is being labeled racist or sexist or whatever -ist you want. If you want to fall into that trap, that's on you. My own mother called me racist for disagreeing with Obama policy decisions. This is not a new tactic by the left to discredit anything they disagree with.

You really think that AOC's rhetoric is more civil than Trump's? Less inflammatory? They are the same animal on the different sides, both media whoring and creating traps for public anger to be be stoked through meaningless sound bites for the sole purpose of staying in the media cycle.

AOC yesterday:

A key part of Trump is allowing neo-nazi's to go unchecked
Trump picks and chooses who he is president to
Trumps policies are solely about ethnicity and racism - it's what he's been thinking about his entire presidency
Trump is lawless
Trump violates human rights
Trump can't conceive immigration that doesn't intentionally torture and hurt innocent people
Trump prefers policies of dehumanization
STILL claimed that people are being forced to drink from toilets

You're in a fantasy land if you think this only cuts one way. And because it is ALL meaningless I choose to ignore it.

I choose to see what they actually DO AND ACCOMPLISH. The media whoring on Twitter etc is by design to get people riled up. I choose not to fall for that trap.

So feel free, but you implying I am ignorant and racist for not screeching every time Trump says or tweets something dumb is on you. That's about your discomfort and misery. That has nothing to do with me.

I acknowledge what you say, RBP. But there should be a difference between the President and fresh congresswoman.

I was always under the impression that ( unlike the Westminster system) the President stood apart from the mess of parliament and gave moral leadership to the country.

I much prefer a statesman as President. I like the formalities and traditions of the office. I appreciate that for 243 years we have maintained a peaceful exchange of power with virtually the same rituals of that transfer.

Having said that, we elected who we elected and knew what we were getting. But no, the POTUS should not be on Twitter. Period. I am not justifying anything because I don't give a fuck about the gotcha faux moral indignation from any of these media whores.

Please find one post here where I've justified any of "the Squad's" rhetoric. In fact, I believe I've commented on several occasions that AOC is the Left's version of Trump. Both pander to their respective constituencies. The difference is I can't vote for or against AOC. Unless Hillary runs against him again, I won't be voting a second time for Trump. You may call that my "discomfort and misery" if you wish. If you don't specifically find enabling an openly racist chant offensive, I believe that while you're not explicitly condoning racism, you're tolerating it. Sorry if I struck a nerve.

Prior to Trump, I often expressed my opinion here that Obama and his "wingman" Holder headed the most racist Administration in our country's history. And, like most of us here, I deeply distrust the mainstream media.

In view of his impressive economic accomplishments (aside from what I view to be an ill-advised trade war with China) it is idiotic to assert that all of Trump's White supporters are racist, but I feel that all avowed White racists support Trump and his open embrace of them goes beyond the old politics makes strange bedfellows claptrap.

Michael Goodwin, a columnist for the New York Post who is an avid Trump supporter, perhaps put it best when he recently suggested that Trump would be much better off swallowing a little crow now about his remarks than possibly having the whole bird shoved down his throat later.

Yeah me too. I did refer to that group of dem-chicks as the four horsewomen of the apocalypse in another thread, and here I feel that Trump (or his rally supporters) are just giving them fodder with interactions like this. You may be able to overlook/ignore the fallout, but agreeing with yours and Lance's view he needs to step back on both comments in person and social media. He's unifying and giving those women credibility because the huge buzzword issues in 2019 are inclusion and racism. People tend to overlook good policy and budget concerns when he keeps hitting these hot button topics and putting himself in a bad light.

I think most of us agree he's a bull in a China Shop (see what I did there..) with social media and media in general and that's all I'm saying when I joke that he needs a little mustache to help him with these comments  Or more simply put...some of us can't ignore the overt comments he makes because they lack tact and self control considering his position. I don't consider him the second coming of Adolph.

I had to get a ghetto haircut this morning at Superstore and it turned out pretty well for a discount cut.

Guy was Chinese and came over from Hong Kong. I guess back there he had a really trendy boutique for men before they became trendy. Now he has an old school barber pole in a grocery store.

And what do I say after paying him? Thanks dude, I feel MUCH taller now! (guy was about 4'10")
