PEORIA — An unknown person broke into a woman’s home and ate cooked ribs out of her fridge.
According to a Peoria police report, the unknown diner broke into the woman’s home, located in the 600 block of Green Street, about 6 p.m. Sunday. The woman told police she believes someone entered her home through her bedroom window because it was found open and a ladder was found leaning up against the side of the building.
The woman noticed that a basket of her clothes appeared to be rummaged through, but the only thing that was missing was a plate of ribs that were in her fridge, the report stated.
She suspects it was her ex-boyfriend, but there is no evidence linking any suspects to the crime.
No arrests have been made at this time.
