FERNDALE, Pa. (WJAC) — A Ferndale man is in custody after police say they found over 60 pounds of marijuana inside a car following a traffic stop.
According to Johnstown police, officers conducted a traffic stop Monday at Bedford Street and Vine Street for a driver seen committing several driving violations.
Police say the driver, 27-year-old Andrew Colvin, was taken into custody under suspension of driving under the influence. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he refused a blood test, police say.
Police executed a search warrant on the vehicle and found over 60 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of about $300,000.

Police say the drugs were packaged in a way that would mask the odor of the marijuana.
Police say Colvin was arrested Wednesday, and further charges were filed.
