CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Two cars in Cape Coral were vandalized while parked overnight at Dolphin Key Resort off of Cape Coral Parkway.
A witness showed NBC2 pictures that show the words, "Liar" and "Cheat" spray-painted right across a Jeep's doors. A white Nissan also had its tires slashed and something painted on its doors too, according to Cape Coral police.
Police responded to the criminal mischief Saturday, Feb. 8. The victims said they went to bed on Friday and the two cars were fine, but when they went out to check their cars Saturday morning they were damaged.
The victims said it's going to cost more than $5,000 to fix both cars.
NBC2 did reach out to Dolphin Key Resort for a comment. We have not heard back.
