JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Stark County woman was arrested Thursday for "repeatedly" calling 911 to tell police her parents shut off her cell phone, according to court documents.

Seloni Khetarpal, 36, of Jackson Township, was charged with disrupting public services, a fourth-degree felony.

On Feb. 13, Khetarpal called 911 and demanded police respond to her home because her parents had shut off her cell phone.

The first time she called, police warned her to only call for a legitimate emergency. Hours later, she called again about her parents shutting off her cell phone.

According to court documents, she was “belligerent” and said she thought it was a legitimate issue.

Khetarpal is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 27.
