A strange slimy creature, or creatures, has been filmed writhing around on a rock and the internet is suitably horrified.
The black mass has been compared to the "Venom symbiote" – an alien that infects human hosts and is Spiderman's arch-nemesis in the Marvel comics and films.
In the video, a freaked-out man jabs at the thing with what looks like a saw and pulls bits of it apart.
But the creature doesn't seem to be harmed and simply reforms itself back into its blob-like structure.
It is not clear where or when the video was filmed but it has been widely shared on Twitter in the past 24 hours and was at one point trending on the platform.

"Aight who's brave enough to turn into Venom real quick," tweeted one user.
Retweeting the gross video, a second commented: "Venom is now in real."
"Not but 72 hours into April...and we have to deal with Venom?" joked a third viewer.
But others commented that it looked like a bootlace worm, the world's longest animal, which reaches up to 55m long according to the Guinness Book of Animal Records.
Bootlace worms are dark brown to black in colour, produce mucus that smells like sewage, and are incredibly toxic.
The worms are marine animals, so it is not clear why one would be roaming on dry land, although there is water nearby and the video looks like it could have been filmed on a rocky beach.
Other theories about the creature were a "bunch of worms or bunch of leeches" and a "dense clump of purple worms".
