A UFO hunter and popular conspiracy theorist claims to have found evidence of aliens on Mars in these NASA rover pictures.
Alien expert Scott C Waring believes the Red Planet used to be inhabited by intelligent extraterrestrials. On his blog ET Data Base, Mr Waring has shared NASA photos of what he thinks are the remains of a 13ft-tall (4m) alien. The pictures were taken by one of NASA's robotic explorers and show a barren, rocky field.
One rock, in particular, stood out to Mr Waring, which he believes could be a dead alien in a spacesuit.
Mr Waring said: "Now I know this is going to sound a bit strange, but I found an alien body laying on the surface of Mars in a NASA photo.
"The body is wearing a black suit and the face area of the suit shows that the face is no longer there.
"There is only an empty opening which should have parts of the skull still inside."
The UFO hunter then showed annotated pictures of the "alien body's" lifeless features.

One photo points out an "arm" and another points out the "head".
Mr Waring said: "There are several long black objects... not far from where his upper and lower legs should be, ao that may account for the legs.
"The alien would be about four metres tall, twice that of a human."
Mr Waring then hinted at the possibility of NASA withholding the information from the public to prevent panic.
Mr Waring has in the past said there is information "NASA doesn’t want to share with us".
More recently, he shared NASA pictures, which he argued showed live ETs on Mars.
He now said: "Now what would people do if NASA reported finding an alien fossil body on the surface of Mars?
"Possible panic if they knew aliens might be four metres tall."
However, scientists are yet to discover any concrete proof life has ever existed on Mars.
The plant is believed to have once resembled a young Earth with a thick atmosphere and vast oceans before it dried up and lost most its atmosphere.

But if the planet was similar to Earth millions of years ago, there is a chance simple microbial life developed on Mars.
NASA said: "Even if there were no life on Mars, it would be exciting to know whether there used to be life there.
"So in addition to looking for living bacteria, NASA will be searching for tiny fossils that might indicate life got a start early in Mars' history but, unlike on our home planet, it did not survive and evolve into larger life forms."
But what about the oddly shaped rocks UFO hunter keep discovering?
The most likely answer is pareidolia - a bizarre effect that tricks the mind into seeing shapes and patterns where they do not exist.
Astronomer Larry Sessions told EarthSky.org: "Seeing recognizable objects or patterns in otherwise random or unrelated objects or patterns is called pareidolia.
"It’s a form of apophenia, which is a more general term for the human tendency to seek patterns in random information.
"Everyone experiences it from time to time.
"Seeing the famous man in the Moon is a classic example from astronomy."
