What's really incredible is all the stuff that's still classified. When I was active duty, they were working on weaponized lasers. Several other things that have become in use, but are still classified. Decades ago (think dial up era) I was goofing around, and stumbled into a section of NASA that had satellite images of earth. You could tell if the grass was long in some of the pics.

I'll contend that Einstein's biggest blunder wasnt discovering the hole in his equations and plugging it with a fudge constant - his biggest blunder was disregarding the effects of electromagnetism at large scales, because the more we look, the more its obvious that plasma physics plays a huge role. Lots of the hardcore electric guys content that gravity is merely an effect that plays out from the absolute googol of electric charges present. I havent quite seen the electric universe stuff become a fully coherent theory yet, but the dark matter search keeps failing!

The concept is that "gravity" is merely the sum total of all charges doing their best to follow the path of dielectric potential. In the same way that the human body, at the cellular level, all has charges that assemble together, yet by the time you get to the macro human level, the charges are all somewhat evened out in such a way that there's not massive coherence. So despite a great many large bodies having magnetospheres while some its barely there at all, in a general sense for planetary bodies, they do not generate sufficient coherence to have any sort of orbital mechanics other than what they do. I havent really studied electric universe theories a ton, but I've consumed enough materials from tesla, eric dollard...there is definitely something to the notion. Remember that Newtonian mechanics began as simple descriptions of motion, all Einstein really did was to shoehorn some of Maxwell's theories in, to vastly oversimplify.

Its sort of a similar thing like asserting that since our consciousness uses the holographic principle to interface with our brains, "that necessarily means we're in a fake matrix" when it totally doesnt.

Reasonably so, although I tend to base that on a somewhat high standard. My cardio could be better!* I'm 5'9 and kept myself at 155lb for 10 years after putting on too much muscle in the early 2000s, then I changed my leg routine and made my jeans tight and I've kept up 165 over the last ~3-4. Due to having back surgery when I was 19, I absolutely must keep a flat stomach or my back will reintroduce me to the meaning of pain, so I really cant get that far out of shape :lol:


* I say that, and then I went on a hike with a bunch of my buddies and it was a joke, good thing we were drinking mushroom tea because I'd have been waiting too long for them otherwise, especially on the steeps....then I dont feel like such a slacker....but knowing what sorts of shape I used to be in....I feel like a slacker :lol:
