Porn star Ron Jeremy was charged today with raping three women and sexually assaulting a fourth female victim in attacks dating back to 2014, according to California prosecutors.

Jeremy (real name: Ronald Jeremy Hyatt) is named in an eight-count felony complaint filed in Superior Court in Los Angeles. In announcing the charges against the 67-year-old performer, prosecutors said they will ask a judge to set Jeremy’s bail at $6.6 million when he is arraigned later today.

As alleged in the complaint, Jeremy raped a 25-year-old woman at a West Hollywood residence in 2014. He is also accused of committing three separate sex crimes at a West Hollywood bar. Two women--ages 33 and 46--were attacked in 2017, while the third victim, 30, was allegedly forcibly raped by Jeremy in July 2019.

While Jeremy is the sole defendant charged, the complaint refers to an “accomplice” who helped restrain a woman allegedly raped by the porn star in March 2017.

If convicted of the charges, Jeremy could face a maximum of 90 years to life in state prison, prosecutors say.

Porn star Ginger Banks said she feels “completely vindicated” after fellow porn star Ron Jeremy was charged with rape and sexual assault.

Banks said she’s now talked to at least 50 victims, according to a report published Wednesday by The U.S. Sun.

“The stories are all the same,” Banks told the outlet. “People would go up to him and be really excited because they were getting to meet Ron Jeremy and asked to take a picture.”

Banks continued, explaining allegations against Jeremy that she had heard from other women.

“Sometimes girls would be bent over on porn sets and he’d just penetrate them,” she added. “The groping is a very, very similar story. It honestly seems to me that if you met Ron Jeremy and he didn’t inappropriately touch you, you’re almost in the minority.”

“I feel completely vindicated in the sense that so many people have always defended him,” Banks said. “I’ve been talked about in a negative light by certain people who still defend him — his fans. I still get a lot of hate for that stuff.”

Jeremy was charged with three counts of forcible rape and one count of sexual assault by the Los Angeles District Attorney.

He denied any wrongdoing Tuesday in a statement on Twitter.

Former porn star Ron Jeremy has been hit with another 20 allegations of sexual assault involving 13 women.

The incidents with the woman date all the way back to 2004, according to a press release published Monday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

The charges include “six counts of sexual battery by restraint, five counts of forcible rape, three counts of forcible oral copulation, two count of forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of sodomy, assault with intent to commit rape, penetration by a foreign object on an unconscious or sleeping victim and lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl.”

Theses charges come after Jeremy was originally charged with three counts each of forcible rape and forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of forcible oral copulation and sexual battery in June. The oldest allegation against Jeremy stems from an incident that occurred in 2004 between the porn star and a 15-year-old girl, the complaint said. The newest allegation stems from an incident that reportedly occurred on Jan. 1, 2020. The victim, 21, claimed Jeremy sexually assaulted her outside of a Hollywood business.

The victims range from the ages of 15 to 54, according to the DA’s office.

Jeremy has previously denied the rape charges.
