21-year-old Faith Wecker was charged with domestic assault and public intoxication after she started hitting, slapping, and throwing boots at her mother when they returned home from a night of drinking and getting kicked out of a bar in downtown Nashville.

On July 8th, close to 2 am officers arrived at 2312 Elliston Place Apartment 656 where they found Brandy Wecker, a victim of a domestic dispute and the mother of the defendant, Faith Wecker. Brandy explained to the police that she and Faith were downtown and drinking alcohol earlier that night.

Faith was kicked out of a bar so they got an Uber to head back to the apartment. When they arrived Faith began hitting, slapping, and throwing her boots at Brandy. Brandy said that she was hit multiple times and had visible injuries on her face and arms that the police described in the report. The officers exited the building and heard Faith screaming down the street near Elliston Place and Louise Avenue.

She was walking away from the apartment and was placed into custody. The officers reported that she smelled strongly of alcohol, her eyes were watery and red, and she was belligerent with officers. During the detainment, she called the officers “asswipes” and screamed “let us out!”

Faith Wecker was arrested and charged with domestic assault and public intoxication. Her bond was set at $2,250.
