e's not perfect. If you read this interview you'll see that he was in favor of overthrowing Assad. But he drew the line at creating a terrorist army with which to do so and he blew the whistle on the operation.

For that alone he deserves our thanks. It's quite unprecedented.

Note that he had to go to Al Jazeera in order to be heard. American media has never touched this and for some reason the clip is difficult to find on Youtube anymore.
