AUGUST 24--A Florida Woman was arrested yesterday for allegedly battering her father “due to his flatulence” inside their residence, police say.
According to an arrest affidavit, Nicole Dozois, 40, shares a bedroom with the 59-year-old victim in a home in Largo, a city in the Tampa Bay area.
Around 2 AM Sunday, Dozois “became angry” with her father “due to his flatulence and an argument ensued,” police report. Dozois then allegedly attacked her father, punching him in the face “numerous times.”
Upon responding to the residence, cops noted that the victim “had a bloodied left eye and scratches all over his neck as a result” of the attack.
Dozois was arrested for domestic battery and booked into the county jail. She was later released on her own recognizance.
Pictured above, Dozois, who has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge, has been ordered by a judge to have no contact with her father.
Dozois’s rap sheet includes convictions for theft and violating probation. She was arrested in 2018 for allegedly punching her sister in the head inside the family’s Largo home (seen below). Prosecutors, however, subsequently declined to pursue a domestic battery case against Dozois.
