ST. LUCIE COUNTY — A 58-year-old man was arrested after deputies reported finding nearly a pound of cocaine in a truck, and more cocaine “on top of a stack of bacon,” records state.
Clifford Eugene Tindall, of Fort Pierce, was arrested Wednesday on two felony counts of cocaine trafficking, according to affidavits.
One of the affidavits is heavily redacted, but states that about 7 p.m. Wednesday, Tindall was in the driver’s seat of a 2018 GMC pickup. The address where the incident occurred was not clear.

He was spotted putting something in the back seat.
In the back seat, deputies reported finding a bag containing three bags of almost a pound of cocaine.
Investigators shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday executed a search warrant at one of Tindall’s listed addresses in the 1900 block of Wyoming Avenue.
In the home, “directly on top of a stack of bacon” investigators found more than an ounce of cocaine in a bag, an affidavit states.
Tindall was released on $70,000 bond Thursday from the St. Lucie County Jail, a jail official said.
