Early numbers are in, and it's much harder to find the numbers for NYC because none of the papers/news outlets track the gun violence like the news in ChiTown does, but it looks like it will be a runaway win for Chicago.

54 shot, 10 of them fatally in Chicago

17 shot, 3 of them fatally in NYC

But I will keep looking to find the most accurate numbers for NYC. The Chicago numbers seem very solid at this time. Those were the numbers as of less than an hour ago.

The NYC numbers are really hard to find, really unbelievable that they are this hard to verify, especially compared to Chicago.

So, since I haven't found anything that tops the numbers above, I am going to call Chicago the winner.
