Dunno. I know Daimon Helstrom was part of the Hellfire Club in the comics. He later joined SHIELD working paranormal jobs. His sister Satana was a bigger deal. She was part of the Avengers and Nick Fury's Howling Commandos.

Reading a little further, this is apparently going to be a standalone series within the MCU.

Reading even further, there is supposed to be a Ghost Rider series in development and it'll be interconnected with this one, but no movies and no other tv series are in the mix.

Started on it the other night, it's pretty good so far. More slow burn horror than "Marvel superhero"

3 episodes in and I'm really digging it.

I guess that should be a red flag, because when I'm really into something, it usually gets cancelled... like Constantine and Swamp Thing.

Son of a bitch! Marvel TV was responsible for this and that was shut down. The only way this gets a second season is if there's a massive call from tons of people that want to see it. It was DOA. Apparently, no Ghost Rider series either.

Why were the critics hating on this show so much??? I thought it was great and then I find out that a couple of weeks ago Hulu officially canceled it. :x

Yep, I haven't finished it yet but it's way better than 90% of the crap they call entertainment these days.

Like DGX said, this was from ABC and Marvel TV and of course they killed off the whole Marvel TV division, but this is still an original for Hulu and you would think that they could still renew it but nope, it's canceled. :|
