Lana Rhoades admitted working in porn affected her sex life.
On the Call Her Daddy podcast, the 24-year-old told host Alex Cooper that the scenes took a toll on her body.
It also made her feel “mechanical” in the bedroom, which is probably why she stopped sleeping with people off camera.
Lana, whose real name is Amara Maple, said: “When I was shooting porn, I didn’t have sex with people off camera.
“My life was all about work.
“I would wake up every single day and go and shoot a porn scene – I had no life.”
Lana added: “I think I’d almost forgot how to have real sex because it was so staged and mechanical…
“You get so many issues with your vagina and it was always hurting. It just sucked.”
These issues are probably why the American star spent less than a year of her life in the porn industry.
Even though she only filmed for a matter of months, it was enough to make her one of Pornhub’s most-viewed stars.
After achieving stardom, she decided to become her own boss.
