Just wondering how many people have had to deal with getting their wisdom teeth removed. I've been lucky I guess, never had an issue with mine at all. I know some people have issues with them really early on with either crowding their mouth or them coming in wrong.

Never an issue. Still have them all.

Same here....I've seen/heard about people getting them removed pre-emptively sometimes and I wonder why someone would want to put themselves through that without really needing it done.

I had mine removed in my 20s. Having them removed didn't bother me a bit. I didn't even take the pain killers they gave me to take home. I was fine after the next day. No pain whatsoever.

My bottom wisdom teeth grew in at 90 degree angles to the rest of my teeth, literally. No top wisdom teeth. Those fuckers were giving me insane headaches every day, they absolutely without question had to go. I was like 20 or so when I had 'em done, doc gave me a valium to take half hour before my appt, then he gave me some nitrous and a bunch of novicane. Fuggin valium, man....that shit is like xanax x40. Didnt give a FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK about anything going on in the world whatsoever, the doc probably could have started slapping me in the face and I wouldnt have cared. Dangerous shit, and I think of all the years my dad's mom was zonked on that stuff

the only really cringey parts were when he was bending pieces back and forth

When we were younger with no insurance and no money my wife needed hers removed. We found some study in the paper that would do it for free to test a new drug on you. When I went to pick her up she was raging pissed, everyone else looked like they couldn't get up from their chair, she got the placebo

I had mine removed in my 20's, I should've got it done right when the dentist told me to, waited a few years and my bottom teeth crowded a bit. My mom was rightfully pissed after spending thousands on braces but I was a dumb kid
