US police officers who were caught on camera pepper-spraying a nine-year-old girl have been suspended while the incident is investigated.
Police in Rochester, New York, said they were responding to an emergency call about a family disturbance on Friday when the incident occurred.
Body-worn camera footage showed police wrestling the girl to the ground in the snow.
"You're acting like a child," an officer tells her.
"I am a child," the girl, who appears to be black, says as she screams, crying for her father.
Rochester Deputy Police Chief Andre Anderson said the girl had "indicated she wanted to kill herself and she wanted to kill her mum".
