A Wisconsin pickup driver was blessed beyond words Saturday morning when his vehicle skidded off an interchange ramp, through a barrier, and fell 70 feet onto the highway below. Remarkably, the truck landed upright and he survived.

It appears that the truck hit a snowbank on the side of the road prior to careening into and over the barrier wall. Despite being vertical at one point, the truck shifted in midair and landed on its tires in the middle of an empty distress lane.
When police arrived the man was conscious, breathing, and being tended to by two other motorists. The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation but his condition was not apparently considered life-threatening.
