It’s important to be comfortable when driving, but one motorist in Wisconsin perhaps took it to an extreme.

At least in the mind of a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper.

According to Twitter and Facebook posts by the Wisconsin State Patrol, one motorist was driving a pickup truck that was equipped with a camping chair in the driver’s seat. There were no other seats in the vehicle, troopers said.

“Recently, a trooper in the North Central Region stopped this pickup truck for an equipment violation,” the Wisconsin State Patrol said in a tweet. “On his approach, the trooper noticed the vehicle was not equipped with seats and the driver was seated in a camping chair.”

In its post, the state patrol also referenced the specific state statute that requires seats.

The law reads in part: “The seat and seat mechanisms of every motor vehicle shall be in proper working condition. All seats shall be securely fastened to the motor vehicle.”

Troopers also used the hashtag #YouDontSeeThatEveryday.
