An Armstrong County man is facing charges following two incidents over the weekend.

On Saturday, Kiski Township police said Douglas Laedlein, 55, of Apollo, disturbed a child’s birthday party while stumbling into a yard.

Police said he was under the influence of Xanax and methamphetamine and was taken to the hospital.

Laedlein faces charges related to that incident, including possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

On Sunday night, police were called to the 600 block of Isabella Avenue in Kiski Township for a man possibly under the influence of drugs, stumbling and dancing in the road.

Police said they encountered Laedlein on scene and, upon taking him into custody, found 38 bags of heroin on him.

Police said Laedlein was also determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine at the time and had broken into a home on Isabella Avenue.

Laedlein faces additional charges for that incident, including criminal trespass.

He is being held in the Armstrong County Jail.
