If you plan on playing a round of golf, beware of crocodiles.

While there are a lot more alligators living among us in Florida, the Village of North Palm Beach is warning golfers about an American crocodile that's living in the ponds at the municipal golf course.

An American crocodile is living in the ponds at the Country Club golf course. The Fish & Wildlife Commission says federal law will not allow removal of the croc, so please be cautious near our golf course ponds.

In a tweet, they note that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission won't allow the removal of the croc due to federal law. The American crocodile is a "threatened" species. So, if you're putting, be careful while you are near the water.

How about a fence

That kinda defeats the purpose of a water hazard on a golf course. :D
