Some observations- Lindsay Lohan was a non event. I thought Perez Hilton had AIDS...he's lost like 100 pounds and was only partly annoying.

The music was great, I thought Vocal Adrenaline had a way better show overall...and I had forgotten what a great singer Lea Michele is :shock:

They didn't crucify Paradise By The Dashboard Light which was nice too :lol:


and I don't think Blaine had one line in the entire episode

I enjoy all of the period references....they use and talk about some real products that existed during the time which is cool. I've only watched 4 episodes so I can't give it a thumbsup just yet. It's very well done in terms of reflecting the time, but it seems to be essentially a show about the ad execs being chauvinists and the wives 'supporting their hubby's'.

Some great nods to the time through the dialogue... At a kid's birthday party - *adult to child* Hey Billy why don't you go and play in the backyard with the other kids...I'm sure there's a BB gun and a peanut butter sandwich with your name on it...

In Falling Skies it seems like they're trying to generate some compassion and interactions between the characters and not selling it. Particularly the bromance between Noah Wylie and that Captain guy....I thought they were going to kiss ffs on the last episode.
