I'm on the last season of The Unit...they've had some really good episodes throughout the series. For the most part I never did buy any of the cast members in the roles with the exception of the guy who played Bob Brown.

This show is based on a book and there's a few books out written by special ops guys and SEALS. I've read two and in both they talk about the brutal training and outstanding physical fitness of members selected for groups like The Unit. Now in the show they're involving the wives and I can't..stop...laughing :lol:

Judging by the books, these guys wouldn't have wives....the secret factor was just to high to have a long term relationship and expect info to be kept quiet, even the times they left the base to go on missions would draw suspicion...

Maybe it's because David Mamet wrote it, I found a lot of the exchanges unnatural and forced rather than clever. The odd episode was good...overall maybe a different cast and some other writers could have saved the show. The last ep appeared to be written with the intention of returning the next season, must have been canceled without notice.

I can't help but like it as it has a couple of my favorite actresses in it. Come to think of it, 95% of the cast are women, what's not to like? :lol:

Emma Roberts did a good job as the catty D-list actress and I like the premise.

Glee - season 5, episode 3...The tribute to Cory Monteith.

I liked the way they handled his death...from Kurt's opening monologue to a scene with Sue Sylvester later in the show.

I thought they could of chose better songs... The actor died this past July, so it was probably still quite fresh when they filmed this.


Santana had a large role in this episode and showed off her under rated acting and singing abilities....and Sue gave a legendary slam within 30 seconds of being on the screen :lol:


I'd recommend watching this if you were a fan....when Lea Michele appeared it was tough to watch :(
