I'd heard good things about this show, not bad for prime time/non swearing/non gory/no nudity TV :thumbsup:

It's going to be odd because I'm used to HBO television...no holds barred sort of programming :lol:

A lot of the violence is implied or happens off camera....they did a great job dealing with everything considering it was on network TV. And keep in mind during this season of it that FOX had no idea that it was going to be as wildly popular as it was (Top 10 show during most of its run). This show was supposed to be a 1 year deal.

Shameless was my most favorite new show this year without question. Everything about the show, the writing, the acting, just everything, was awesome. I love Showtime shows :thumbsup:

Just finished watching it now...and agreed.There's an actor named Jeremy Davies (Dickie Bennet), who consistently amazes me.He was in the Christian Bale movie Rescue Me, playing a starved, crazy POW and more recently played
a brilliant young scientist on the TV series Lost.

The recent scene with Raylen taking Dickie out to the forest at night (to presumably shoot him) was a good example.He's one the most underrated actors of our generation IMO.
