The whole idea of Martin not being able to 'come out of' each persona makes me laugh...then the Iraq back story about someone erasing his life etc made me laugh. Ok, so that's a reason he can't distinguish his personalities...I suspected that from the first scene with his wife when she was talking about the coma.

I read about deep cover operatives and they said you never forget your real identity, because that's the only thing that gets you through the lie. Also Martin's realbad Texas accent, how they play that funky music (twice now) building it up like his legend is going to be amazing and he still mumbles and does really not much :lol:

He's a great actor....just wish the ideas and plot points weren't so cheesy and unbelievable. Make it more serious...

And then there's the little issue with it being cold enough for it to freeze and break the glass in the ambulance (I've been in nearly -60° cold and our windows never broke FFS) and yet Lyle was in the lake (which wasn't frozen over) and he wasn't a popsicle yet? Come on, I know it's sci-fi and whatnot, but let's not blow reality completely out of the water. :shakehead:

They really imply it in some scenes...he gets names wrong, acts really aggressive for no reason...I'm baffled you hadn't noticed because that's pretty much the entire underlying idea of the show :lol: (or what they are trying to sell to us the viewers) This week he admitted to his wife that he sometimes doesn't remember who he is. There are examples on each episode...

Me and the g/f liked it too...thought pretty much the same as you did. Pretty well done except for some to the writing. And the last scene with DJ Qualls was quite unneeded :lol: That guy unfortunately takes the show down a notch all by himself.
