Dashcam footage has emerged of a terrifying road rage incident involving an axe-wielding driver.
In the video, one driver armed with an axe attempts to run another driver off the road. The maniac driver can even be seen waving the axe out the window while swerving across the highway.
The victim driving the Mercedes tries to escape and decides to head towards the police station.
According to reports, the driver of the Holden Hatchback slammed into the Mercedes twice before losing control of the vehicle.
The reason for the road rage incident is not known.
