Former Democratic presidential candidate and former Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is scheduled to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) this week, the group’s chair confirmed on Monday.
Gabbard will address the conference’s Ronald Reagan Dinner on Saturday night, slated alongside conservative leader Glenn Beck who will provide the keynote remarks during the event.

The Democratic leader’s appearance at the conservative event is an unusual twist for both the event and for Gabbard. In recent months, however, the Hawaiian political figure has increasingly ramped up attacks on President Joe Biden and her own party, drawing attention from conservative media.
Other speakers scheduled for the Orlando, Florida, CPAC event this week include former President Donald Trump, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. All three conservative leaders have been rumored as possible 2024 Republican presidential candidates.
On Monday, Gabbard released a Twitter post predicting a Russia-U.S./Ukraine conflict will quickly “go cyber.”
“A Russia-US/Ukraine conflict will quickly go cyber with mutual attacks on communication/information assets, which will blind both sides to the other’s plans, actions & intentions, increasing the likelihood of miscalculation & misunderstanding, thereby drastically increasing the…likelihood of the conflict going nuclear (accidentally or intentionally). And what for? To supposedly protect a ‘democracy’ that really isn’t a democracy; to distract from domestic failures/show how tough Biden is. Biden can prevent war, but I fear he lacks the courage to do so,” she tweeted.

On Sunday, the former congresswoman posted a clip from a recent Fox News interview she gave that also questioned Biden’s efforts in Ukraine.
“What are we trying to achieve in Ukraine? How will it benefit the American people? And at what cost? The Biden Admin has never answered these questions. Inflation and cost of living will drastically increase, Russia will retaliate, and no one knows where it will all end,” Gabbard wrote.

Gabbard also recently blasted Hillary Clinton over information released in the bombshell Durham report that alleged a Clinton campaign lawyer, working with a tech firm, accessed data from Trump Tower and the Executive Office of the President to build a case about Trump’s connection to Russia. The Daily Wire previously reported:
“What’s being revealed here, Jesse, is the truth,” Gabbard told Fox News host Jesse Watters. “Hillary Clinton and the powerful elite in this country manufactured this Russian collusion lie, actively undermining our democracy and stoking the fires, moving us into this new cold war with Russia.”
“The damage that they did to the American people, our democracy, and others around the world is immeasurable,” she continued. “It’s impossible to measure.”
Gabbard asserted that the Biden administration, specifically National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, is now telling Americans, “Hey, you’ve got to be ready to go to war with Russia, with other countries, to ‘spread democracy,’ to ‘protect democracy.’ And yet, they are actively undermining our democracy here are home.”
“Hillary Clinton and her warmongers need to be held accountable,” Gabbard closed the segment.
