A man attacked a woman at a Daytona Beach Waffle House with Florida man's weapon of choice... a machete!!
Police say security footage shows Kendrick and the victim talking to each other in a booth. Kendrick gets up and mingles with other patrons before returning to the booth where the woman sat.
Kendrick then pulled a machete out of his pants and struck her multiple times! The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries to her head and hands. She also said she does not know him at all!
Pierre Kendrick, 34, is charged with attempted first-degree murder. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and held on a bond of $75,000.
