A woman made a video about how she enjoys being a "stay-at-home daughter" and won't bow down to the pressure to get a job.
In the tongue-in-cheek TikTok video, user @deinshoshannamadchen films herself brushing her hair and preening, writing on the screen: "When everyone in your life is telling you to get a job but they don't get that being the stay-at-home daughter is a job."
The video was played with the TikTok sound: "No. It was no 15 minutes ago and it's no now."
"Being pretty is enough to worry about," she wrote in the caption of the video along with the hashtags "unemployed", "perfect", and "doll".
The clip was watched more than 180,000 times on the video-sharing app and many young women agreed with the message, with some admitting they had found it tough to find enjoyable jobs.
One user wrote: "Grateful for my mom. I went to one day of training at my job and decided actually never mind and my mom said I could quit."
"Waking up at 2pm and doing my makeup should be enough for this family," commented a second person.
A third person commented: "Sleeping all day in my barn of a bedroom is a full time job thanks though."

Someone else said: "Yes being a stay-at-home daughter vibing with my dog all day has been the best."
A fourth person seemed confused by the idea and commented: "Genuine question, how do you make money like how do you have money to get stuff for yourself?"
Meanwhile, others said they had mental health problems or had spent time off work living with their family only to later find a job and feel better again.
This comes after a survey found 11% of fathers were stay-at-home dads who did the bulk of the parenting and household chores.
