Still wondering why your pizza never turned up?

It may have been your delivery driver who an RCMP officer clocked at 119 km/h on the Aviation Parkway Friday night.

“How NOT to deliver pizza,” the force’s National Division tweeted Monday. “Drive 2x the speed limit, while on your cellphone and without insurance.

“This kind of driving is DANGEROUS and your pizza will probably never make it!”

A stunt driving charge alone — defined as 50 km/h or more over the limit, or 40 km/h where the limit is less than 80 km/h — carries an automatic 14-day vehicle impound and 30-day driver’s licence suspension and fines of $2,000 to $10,000.

Using your cell phone behind the wheel will net a distracted driving ticket, with fines of $615 to $3,000.

The RCMP is responsible for traffic enforcement on federal routes in the national capital region.

I wonder if the cop gave him a ride to finish the delivery before taking him to jail....
