Former South Carolina governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley announced Tuesday that she is running for president, seeking the Republican nomination for the 2024 election.

In a video message posted on Twitter, Haley touted her record as South Carolina's governor, while looking to the future and the needs of the country.

"It's time for a new generation of leadership," Haley stated.

Haley identified numerous threats facing the country, from the "socialist left" to Russia and China, warning that there are those who see the United States as vulnerable.

"They all think we can be bullied, kicked around. You should know this about me, I don't put up with bullies, and when you kick back it hurts them more if you're wearing heels."

Not at all, it would be really nice to have a group of possible candidates in their 40's and 50's to choose from instead a bunch of geriatric clowns.

Probably, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Trump handles being slammed by her.

My Aunt is a Dem. She said she would cross lines and vote for her over Biden. But if it was Biden/Trump, she would vote Biden.

It blows my mind that even though he is clearly incapable, people will still vote for him

Do you really think that Trump is by any stretch of the imagination "capable"?

Then explain to me how he comes to the conclusion that energy windmills are bringing down airplanes.

I'm sure she'd do a decent job and beat Biden.

Still not nearly as good as we were doing under Trump. And I don't know what gauge you're using to determine how good our economy is doing, but prices for common items are still fucking outrageous. Inflation is still high.

It's smoke and mirrors....the inflation rate is based on what prices were a year ago at this time. So, the inflation rate released for last month was 6.4%. But, the inflation rate for January 2022 was 7.5%. So inflation is still ridiculously high. The prices for last month were 6.4% HIGHER than the 7.4% inflation rated prices we were paying a year ago.

Ann Coulter went on a racist tirade earlier this week in which she suggested that Nikki Haley “go back to [her] own country” where people are “starving” while “worshipping cows and rats.”

Coulter also referred to Haley as a “bimbo” and a “preposterous creature.”

Haley, the Indian American former governor of South Carolina who declared her candidacy for the GOP nomination for president earlier this week, has not commented on Coulter’s remarks, which she made on “The Mark Simone Show.”

Coulter told Simone she was particularly angered by then-Gov. Haley’s decision to remove the Confederate flag from the grounds of South Carolina’s Statehouse following the 2015 mass shooting at a predominantly black church in Charleston.

“This is my country, lady,” Coulter said. Her comments were cited by NBC News.

“I’m not an American Indian, and I don’t like them taking down all the monuments.”

Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants, was born in South Carolina. During her campaign kickoff event Wednesday, Haley called for a new generation to take the reins of the GOP.

“I stand before you as the daughter of immigrants, as a proud wife of a combat veteran and as the mom of two amazing children,” Haley said.

Coulter, who has a history of making incendiary comments about immigrants, did not hold back during Wednesday’s podcast appearance.

“Her candidacy did remind me that I need to immigrate to India so I can demand they start taking down parts of their history,” Coulter told Simone.

“What’s with the worshipping of the cows? They’re all starving over there. Did you know they have a rat temple, where they worship rats?”

Haley’s ethnic background was fodder for left-leaning critics who took her to task for serving as UN ambassador during the presidency of Donald Trump.

Trump, who has also made controversial remarks about immigrants and foreigners, is looking to recapture the GOP nomination for president in 2024.

Coulter’s rant against Haley nearly coincided with sexist comments made by disgruntled “CNN This Morning” co-host Don Lemon, who enraged his on-air colleague Poppy Harlow by declaring that the 51-year-old former UN ambassador was “not in her prime.”

Lemon, who was conspicuously absent from his co-host chair Friday morning, is skating on thin ice at CNN as a result of his latest blowup, network sources told The Post on Thursday.

Worldwide, my friend. Take it out on the gas companies. Record profits recently.

Another reason to loosen dependency on them. Fuck these guys!

I'm not sure what you mean. Isn't inflation at any given moment compared to a year ago.

No. Inflation is not caused by specific sectors of an economy, it is caused by the economic policies of the administration. The administration has direct control over how the US oil companies operate. When the administration makes it difficult for US oil to operate, like the Biden administration has, the oil companies have to raise prices for survival's sake. This is the way it really works.

It must have been really pillow biting for those oil Giants to force themselves to raise oil prices to make those record profits.

The point of a business is to make money. Period. Sorry you don't agree wit that, but economics and economic markets don't care what you think. There are underlying reasons that enable them to make these record profits and it begins and ends with government policy. You want to demonize a business for making money, so why not demonize them all? The cost of clothes is up, lets hang the cotton farmers!!! The price of candy is up, kill the chocolatiers! You are missing the forest for the trees, and hence why I posited that you're not very good at chess: You can't see the layout of the board, you can't see all the pieces in play. You're blinded by your biases and are fixated on your one idea, and IT IS WRONG.

Hey, how many Democrats serving in the US government are holding shares of stock of oil companies? :-k

I don't give a flying fuck about the rest of the world (yes, I know, how typically American of me), I care about what I have to put up with here. Does that make more sense to you now? How about this: regarding worldwide economics, how the United States goes, so does the rest of the world. Because we still lead the world economy, and when we suffer, the rest of the world will too... except for the Saudis. If we're doing good, then the rest of the world will follow. You don't have to like it, but until the Chinese take over, that's just the way it is. Deal with it.

Our gas prices could be low, but because of government policy, it won't be, and it won't be again until we get the Democrats out of office. We could be energy independent, but we're not, because Biden's bullshit far-left agenda won't let us be. And yet big oil is still making record profits, even when that Dementia-laden nutsack said he was going to put them out of business. Funny how they're still making "record profits". Funny how much better we all were doing economically speaking, when Trump, the Bush's, and Reagan were in office.

I don't just hate Biden, I fucking hate Democrats and far-left liberal idiots, because they're fucking stupid, and they're the complete antithesis of what the United States is about. Or at least they are today. Once upon a time a long time ago, the Democrats weren't that bad. But today, they're not the JFK-Democrats of yesterday, they're more like a party that Nikita Khrushchev would be proud of. Not fucking good at all.

Maybe you should start with checkers. :-k
