Only about half way through, but its pretty funny and a cool idea.

Film noir parody with a detective uncovering a sinister plot. Characters from real noirs appear as scenes from various films are intercut.

Roman Moroni: I would like to direct this to the distinguished members of the panel: You lousy cork-soakers. You have violated my farging rights. Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes... like yourselves.

The first once was actually pretty good, that 2nd one tho was just ridiculous :wha:

And I wouldn't have a problem with the masks if they treated them like they did in the TV series. It took hours, sometimes days to get the masks ready in the TV series. In that last movie, it's like they carried them around with them and could change them whenever they wanted FFS. Plus all the fight scenes and whatnot were just stupid.

This was a good story, unfortunately logic lapsed in a few places and those places were critical to the plot  One neat bit of trivia I read was that it was filmed in a place called Smithers, BC....a town about halfway between me and Godfather.Neeson said it was -40C during some of the filming and that there was no need for CGI snow or storms

What a POS film this thing was. First, it's marketed as a horror movie when it couldn't be farther away from the horror genre if it tried. I dunno what it was other than an anti-religion, anti-government film. This was nothing but a movie with a political agenda and it wasn't done subtly at all.

Blah...not sure why so many people worship Kevin Smith, I have yet to like any film he's done. Some have been more watchable than others, but none of them have been very good (IMHO).

Stay away from this one unless you hate everything about government and religion....or you worship at the altar of Kevin Smith.

Not sure what to make of this one...not a real horror flick per se put it did have elements of horror in it. Movie was very slow paced though, especially the whole first half. And even though in the third act the tension that they built/tried to build was heading for a pay-off, it was still slow paced.

I dunno, wasn't great, but wasn't awful either.

I just watched this also, it wasn't really like any other kevin smith movie. i guess i didn't think it was a POS, but it wasn't great either.

Red Tails

About the all black WW2 pilots The Tuskegee Airmen. Fictionalized and very sanitary account of the brothers trying to get air time in the war. The flying scenes are all CGI and they're done very well. The acting and Cuba Gooding however, were not

Watch it for the tiny bit of historical info and the great flying scenes

Captain America wasnae great but Thor was a good movie!

Avengers is fantastic, non stop action and a lot of humour, is some very funny scenes..
Downey is very good, best character is Hulk, Ruffulo should have been given the gig from the beginning

Hey each to there own, im a total fan boy geek, a big comic book fan and i like long movies, it ticked all the boxes for me!

The Hulk is cgi yeah but Ruffalo is seen just as much as Hulk is and he played the character sooo much better than the others. Love Whedon's works, its nearly as good as Serenity, and THATS saying something. What, no one like Serenity either?

Seriously loved it, dont judge till u give it a chance. And the reveal for the next baddy nearly made this geek have sexy wee in his underwear, its gonna take about 6 or 7 movies to build up to where there going next, gods is gonna be immense..

All of the elements were there...Michael Caine, The Rock, Vanessa Hudgens and a cool island with incredible creatures. It's a shame that the movie contained uncomfortable scenes like The Rock's - Do the pec bounce..

my views and some spoilers in the spoiler tag

was a let down tbh. my mate is a BIG Alien geek and he was less than impressed with it.
i found it left more questions than answering any you may have had from the previous films.

its also left itself nicely open for sequels

certain things that need answering, what exactly did David say to the humanoid alien being that made him go batshit crazy??

it left both of us feeling that there was such a buildup to the ending of the film that it kinda left us wanting, almost as if they wrote 2/3rds of the film, went to lunch and forgot to bring th mojo back for the final 1/3rd of the film

Since I picked the last film and the girlie didn't like it, this is what she chose. It actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting, it was pretty comical.

My mother and her friends (all 60+) read (and love) those books. They all went to see that flick and they all thought it sucked.

I was really impressed! Charlize was total bat shit crazy as the queen and (I know I'm gonna get shit for this but) Kristian was really good in this! She even smiled a few time!

Lance is forced by his whip-owner to watch a movie based on books that little old ladies read. He enjoys the flick, but the little old ladies all think its shit.

Great premise...Nazis escaped to the moon in 1945 and have lived there since WW2. Good production values and effects, yet somehow the whole movie fell flat :|

It was entertaining but I can't recommend.

it's not horrible...good effects etc....it was just one of those movies that I think could have been a whole lot better. Seemed like an extended SNL skit

Worth the price of admission just to hear Jennifer Anniston talk dirty...

Not a great comedy, could have been a whole lot better considering the talent they had in the movie.

wtf was that smiley I used.... where did that come from :-k

anyway, I was just hoping it was good.... most of the films I got suck ass, so I was keeping that as a treat

also, I watched.... or at least tried to watch "armed and deadly". Now, while I do enjoy crap films, in this, I've found a film even I can't watch.... it is awful.... I got about 20 minutes in and wanted to kill myself for pressing play

It's good hard scifi. Not quite the scifi-horror that Alien was. I'm still kinda digesting it. There's a lot in there to think about. I mean, I get it, it makes sense, but I guess the lingering question in my mind would be answered by a sequel.

But then again, given what happened in the movie, how the hell does she think she's gonna make it when she meets the entire race at their home world rather than just a lone survivor at a military/bio-weapons outpost?
