Finally watched the latest Bond movie. I thought it was a fun watch for what it is, I can dig the ending to Craig's saga. The whole Specter and Rami Malik/Lyutsifer Safin shit was a tad convoluted, and I thought No Time to Die was perhaps the most 'campy' of the Craig bond movies (lot more firing from the hip, goofy henchmen and outfits, and cheesy lines than I remember in the first couple Craig movies which seemed more raw). And the new 007 chick was whatever. But Craig is still my personal favorite Bond of all time, I loved him.

If you like high fantasy, sword and sorcery type stuff, then you'll probably like it, although you'll probably have questions about some of the monsters featured, like the mimic, the displacer beast, and the gelatinous cube. People that don't do either still might enjoy it, but they'll definitely be scratching their heads in spots.

The movie that has scared me more than any other is "Alien". Close second is Nightmare on Elm St. 8-[

Oppenheimer.... see it in theaters if you plan to see it at all, it deserves it. I really loved it, 10/10 for me. My wife liked it a lot too, maybe not as much as I did but it's still one I think almost anyone would enjoy.

I think the ones with real people are scarier then supernatural, since in theory it could happen.
I think the Rob Zombie franchise are pretty good. My wife was pretty shook after House of 1000 Corpses, was not happy I took her to the theater for that one :lol:

I don't watch a ton of stand-up but that was the funniest special I've seen in years. Watched it on a flight and had to re-watch when I got home with my wife who laughed her ass off too. Can't recommend it enough.

Finally watched Jordan Peele's Nope.

Really enjoyed it. Didn't know what it was about at all which I think is half the fun, don't spoil it before you check it out. Loved Daniel Kaluuya's character too, so dry. My wife said "that's one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen" :lol: I thought it was a super fun watch.

Dune parts 1 & 2.

Great visuals, but the lead Timothee Ramalamdingdong doesn't do it for me. Neither does Zendaya, the walking toothpick with an orange for a head. Outside of these two huge casting oversights, the rest of the cast was outstanding.
