Absolutely loved it :tup: It obviously helps if you're interested in horseracing - the film tells the true story of the horse Secretariat (Big Red) which was the last horse to win the Triple Crown in America. Great acting throughout with Diane Lane and John Malkovich fantastic as owner and trainer of the horse. A slightly biased 8.5/10 from me :)

I enjoyed it.The movie took a light hearted take on the old Norse myth, not sure if it stayed faithful to the comic books as I don't read them.

They could have dwelled on the fish out of water scenario when he came to Earth, thankfully he just accepted his fate and got on with business.
Good effects and funny at times, worth a watch.

Curiosity got the best of me. I downloaded this before you had posted it. I actually saw the uncut version. I'm still trying to find the words to best describe it. I can honestly say this, this will be the one and only time I'll watch this flick. Having seen The Human Centipede and wondering who would think of producing such a movie or coming up with such a sick flick, well this movie certainly trumps it.

My wife walked in on me watching it and I turned it off, cause I didn't want to scar her for life, after she left the room, I finished watching it cause of the train wreck effect.

To me (and this is just my opinion), the story was bad, the acting barely fair considering the cast involved, and the special effects were pretty awful considering this was a big budget Hollywood release. I thought it was actually pretty boring.
