It's no secret that Apple fans are a dedicated bunch, so when co-founder and iconic figurehead Steve Jobs stepped down from his CEO post last week, we knew that Apple diehards would find some unique ways to honor him. Runner Joseph Tame decided to take on this task by combining his passion for marathon running with his Steve Jobs fandom. The result is a 13-mile foot trail near Tokyo in the shape of an Apple logo.

Tame used the GPS tracking app RunKeeper to log his progress, and did his best to stick to the curvy lines of the iconic brand's signature stamp. In order to make the two separate pieces of the logo — the apple itself and the leaf at the top — Tame used two iPhones. The ambitious route took roughly two hours to run, and according to the RunKeeper log, the jaunt burned up a cool 1,765 calories.

This isn't the first time Tame has turned his fancy footwork into GPS art, and his "The Art of Running" series includes other works including a massive Twitter logo, a 30-mile heart around Tokyo, and even Hello Kitty.
