A naked man with what were believed to be drug-induced amorous intentions was taken into custody Thursday.
A Cope man called law enforcement around 2 p.m. saying a naked man was trying to break into his residence.
When deputies arrived, the Cope man said the unclothed stranger was at his back door using a stick in an effort to get inside.
The Cope man said the naked man then pointed at his wife who was inside the house and "started moving in a hunching motion." The naked man crudely informed the Cope man that he wanted to have sex with her, according to a Sheriff's Office incident report.
The naked man then grabbed a bigger stick and threatened to "ram the door."
While deputies were talking with the Cope man, the unclothed individual approached from behind the house. He was covered in dirt and mud.
After some struggle, the subject was handcuffed and transported to the hospital for an examination.
Deputies noted the 33-year-old man may have been influenced by drugs.
The man was cited for indecent exposure, trespassing and public disorderly conduct. The woman was not harmed.
