They still belt out the classics I grew up with. Gotta love those southern rock roots.

...of course a back stage pass and picture with the band is always a good bonus.8-)

Awesome. You should post the picture...edit your face out if you don't want to reveal your identity (Yes, I've seen your avatar, and suspect it indicates something about your personality).

The avatar pic is just the one I liked best of Griffin (aka TheInvisibleMan), a character I played on another forum before this joint opened up. 8-)

It was only a "Meet & Greet" were they shuffle you in, shake hands, snap a pic and move along for the next ones.

Either way, a helluva experience, I'm sure.

My wife got to go backstage to the Kinks in their 80's iteration and she said it was a blast...she won a radio contest and got to hang out with the band pre-concert. Ray Davies was a really nice guy she said.

About 10 years ago went to a Kansas concert at RiverFront.
On the way to the restrooms I found an "all access Promoters Pass".
Teh spouse used it to go backstage and mingle with the bands. I used it all night long going to the VIP tent for free beer and grub.:headbang::drunk:

In the words of Ricky Ricardo, "Hold on Lucy! Don' led go...If it don' cling to tite babe...yue gonna lose yore girdle!"

Noilly Pratt

Hold on Loosely was based on a Ricky Ricardo expression? You got some 'splainin' to do, Teacher Teacher!!! :D

One of my fave bands for sure.

It always amazes me how music is like a scent...one whiff and it takes you right back to where you heard it..

The first time I heard that song, I sincerely thought that Skynyrd had run out of ideas and wrote a song about farting.
