I used them for a while, I picked all my meals, didn't just go with the defaults. I didn't have anything I didn't like. Unfortunately I just would get backed up and have too much food so I canceled it. But, it was super convenient to have everything measured out. I think I still have a lb. of turmeric because I needed a teaspoon for a recipe :lol:

On Friday stopped at Walmart for a few things and just happened to look in the meat section. They had some nice looking steaks graded Prime, not the usual Choice grade that they have (which are still halfway decent). Bought 3 of the Prime graded steaks, 1 ribeye and 2 NY Strips, and fired up the grill last night and cooked them up. The steak was like butter it was so tender.

Went to the local Mexican restaurant and ordered the "Tamale Deluxe" dinner entrée. I guess we could call it their Mexican garbage plate: one pork tamale covered with cheese and red sauce. Two chicken flautas. Cooked ground beef and chicken just randomly thrown over top of everything. Some guac and sour cream. Everything on a bed of loaded nachos with salad and a side of rice and refried beans for good measure. Basically everything except seafood.

Brined some thick cut pork chops yesterday and threw them on the grill for dinner last night. Came out great.

Dude, I have been doing pork tenderloin in the Instant Pot on Sous Vide and then finish it with a sear. If you get large Pork Chops this is the way as well. We got some 2 bone thick chops and you can get them to cook perfectly all the way though in like 2 hours, then drop them on a hot grill and sear both sides. Its a game changer.

I should really have taken in the 'flavorizor' bars over the winter, even under the waterproof bbq cover they rusted out it's been so damn wet this winter, rookie mistake. Oh well, looks like new ones are $60, probably worth it.

Scarfed 2 of those little crack cheeseburgers from Mcdicks in the car tonight driving home from a client's Chinese New Year's dinner :lol: Man those burgers have gotten smaller and smaller but they still tasted amazing.... this dinner was at a legit Cantonese seafood place... no lemon chicken or sweet and sour pork. More like 9 courses of sea-cucumber, jellyfish, abalone, dried shrimp soup. Don't get me wrong, I'm an adventurous eater and that's not my first rodeo with real Chinese food so I can nibble well enough to fit in, but I don't love most of it and left hungry :lol:
