Yeah, I was really impressed with it the first time I heard it. And it's one of my most favorite Floyd songs of all time. They done good.

Came back on about 20 minutes later, it was dark and they played One of These Days. A song I thought I would never hear live...

That killer bass line, all sorts of pyrotechnics, pigs exploding out of mailboxes :shock: It was heaven

I saw him live (he didn't see me though :dance:)

Seriously...when he played See the Light our crowd lost their collective minds. He stood up while playing leads, often needing help to get back to his stool while never missing a note in the song.

It was cool because it was before he got a huge reputation. I'm roughly the same age as him and we heard about a - white guy who plays the blues, who is also blind.

We had no idea about his guitar playing style and underrated singing...he played at a place called the Jubilee Auditorium, which is a small theater reserved for high school graduations, plays etc.

About halfway through the first song my concert-going buddy screams Holy shit! :shock:

Yeah I'm remembering similar timing. Except we had a show called the New Music, which was our version of MTV back in the day. His first song got heavy rotation there.

I was also told I looked a lot like him :lol: as I wore my hair the same way and do share some of his facial features.

This guy is Leo Moracchioli from Norway. He's done over 200 covers and should have a thread of his own. Everything from Sia to ACDC to Bob Marley.

He plays all of the instruments and some songs contain over 40 tracks. He tends to do the metal singing/screaming in most songs which I don't care for. Dude has a great sense of humor :lol:

I used to have one of those zildjian mega bell rides, traded it to my buddy cuz I never used it. great bell but the rest of it sucked, it had this disgusting low pitched hum to it. and fuck zildjian A series cymbals, super harsh overtones on them. my buddy that I traded the mega bell to got me on Paiste 2002s, they sound so much better its not even funny. super delicate alloy though...and still no breaking :woot: I guess I can thank my younger brother for being so anal about hitting his cymbals properly when we were kids.

seeing his DW pedals makes me want to finish the titanium footboards for mine...since I have a pair of the 25th anniversary ones made from all titanium I know how sweet it is having 1/8th" of pedal there :woot:
