I mean one moment she was alive and then she was dead, end of. And I thought that Rick's reaction was a bit disingenuous....here he had been barely talking to her for months, and when he did talk to her, he was rude and cold, and then when she dies he gets all upset? Unless that reaction was purely based on the fact that he was upset for Carl when he realized that the kid had to shoot his own mother to keep her from turning.

From this past episode - GO GLEN GO! :tup: From the headbutt to Merle to taking the zombie down while tied to the chair, I love his character more every week. Probably the only well-hung Asian male in all of TV.

The two groups are obviously on a collision course...my one hope is that Merle gets eaten by zombies or someone kicks the shit out of him. Little brother Daryl would be a good candidate...

I was expecting a bigger (maybe different) cliffhanger TBH, but this one wasn't too bad.

I hope Merle gets what's coming to him when the show returns from hiatus. But I did kinda feel bad for Daryl when he heard Merle was alive and that he was the one that tortured Glen. You could see all the different emotions going on with him all at once like that. That dude is a great actor.

Annnnnnd something I really didn't like about the episode last night. Here Rick & The Gang spent all this time securing the prison to make it safe, killing all the walkers they could find and...in the first scene a new group of people finds the prison and just walks in through a HUGE gaping hole in the fence :rolleyes:

At the end of the episode I was trying to figure out why The Governor was throwing Merle under the bus. That had me seriously confused :confused:

Then I remembered this morning that Merle had told the Governor that Michonne was dead. :doh:

As soon as they showed "Previously on The Walking Dead...." and it showed Rick with the walkie, I knew immediately that Morgan was coming back. He seems to have gone a bit over the edge. Understandable I guess after finding out that his zombie wife, that he easily could have killed many times, killed his son too.

That whole scene with Morgan and Rick was amazing. Lennie James is a really good actor. I didn't think much of him when I saw him in Snatch, but he really showed off his chops in this episode.

I loved when he was telling Rick about when he was exploring with his son and his zombie wife attacked and he had to kill them both...no flashbacks or anything, just the actor telling the story. And it felt much more real than it even could have by using flashbacks. It was awesome.

I dislike Andrea a lot, but that's not the way I wanna see her die. Now she actually has me rooting for her and hoping that Rick and the crew show up before she gets tortured.

There's probably a sensible route from the warehouse area where she left the Gov, back to the prison...I don't think he was there for much longer than she was...and he does have them long insane madman legs :)

I believe she was in that copse of trees just outside the clearing in front of the prison. I don't think Rick could see them very well to begin with.


Not sure on the last question...seemed like a quick few moments before we saw her tied up in the chair. Maybe what condition she'd be in was the reveal? :shrug:

Riddle me this Batman....why is it a few episodes ago or thereabouts did it seem like the prison was only a couple hours away on foot when Andrea went to the prison but this time it seemed like a 3 week trek thru the wilderness? :lol:

I just wish the show would be a tad more consistent when dealing with things like that. It's like a magical forest. :lol:

One minute Andrea is just hiding against a tree to avoid the truck on the road and then suddenly out of nowhere 3 zombies appear. She didn't notice thenm at all when she was going up to the hiding spot? I guess they just materialize out of nowhere.

Glad to see Merle gone, kinda hated him, but nice to see that he had a moment of conscience in the car ride with Michonne. I think it was when he told her that "nobody would mourn him, not even Daryl" that finally got to him. Because as much of an asshole that Merle was, he still deep down loved his brother. And also when Michonne told Merle that Rick "needs Daryl, respects him" that helped get to him too.

And usually I can see things coming in this show, but when the Governor shot Merle, the farthest thing from my mind was that he was going to kill him so he could end up a zombie. As soon as Daryl rolled up on the carnage and saw that zombie I knew and was all "woah: :shock:

Daryl is gonna skin the Governor alive.

Not everybody dislikes Andrea. In the comics, she hooks up with Rick after they leave the prison. Maybe they wanted that to happen. Too late now.

Milton was actually likeable. I've read a bunch of opinions that would have liked him to join the group. Now he's dead.

They could've been looking for a more definite resolution with the governor. And it looks like they may be spending another season at the prison instead of moving on. In the comics, when the governor attacks the prison, there's a ton of bloodshed. People in Rick's group die. And they move on. Last night kinda felt a little anti-climactic in that respect. But I guess they have a bigger story to tell there and lots of new people to use to tell it.

I was looking forward to seeing Morgan join the group. I guess we'll have to wait to see if he comes around next season.

Andrew was one of the prisoners that they found when they first were searching the prison. He set off the alarms and herded the zombies towards the group and it was during that time that Lori got bit. Rick had a chance to kill him but never made sure he was dead. I believe Rick pushed him out into the fenced yard with the zombies and assumed he was dead.

Nope, I guess not....they were trapped by the zombie horde so there was no way for Lori to give birth semi-safely, so she was gonna die from blood loss.....so Carl shot her before she turned.

But Andrew was indirectly responsible because he set the zombies loose that trapped Lori, Maggie, and Carl in that room.

another actor that amazes me is the guy who plays Rick, Andrew Lincoln...

he's a Brit, yet when he talks I would swear the actor was raised in the southern states...even his short expressions like - y-uh -, ring true :thumbsup:

Michonne has the best weapon out there..no reloading necessary and just long enough to stay out of trouble

Speaking about the herd sizes, that's part of the show I don't like. There's one or two zombies and then all of a sudden 65 more come out of the trees..


One thing I'd like to see is a map of where they started on foot and all points visited since that time. Can't be that far and I bet there's a whole bunch more zombies in the previously populated areas like large cities vs the country they live in. It's too bad they couldn't find a helicopter or plane with lots of fuel and get a good look at a few states and cities.

I mentioned it before during the farm season...I'd much rather fortify one position and stay there with walls and a roof as opposed to living on the road every night

Not necessarily, I don't believe that anyone said that the virus/bacteria is 100% fatal at this point so far :-k
