Over the past month, the crusaders at Zuccotti Park have braved the elements, tussled with police, and stood their ground against Mayor Bloomberg. But how much do the protesters actually know about the economic system that they're fighting to change? To find out, we asked 50 occupiers a series of questions about Wall Street, taxes, and government. The results were mixed. See if you can do better.

Yeah but isnt that final question inaccurate seeing as the health care and pensions are mostly for veterans?

Social Security and Medicare have nothing to do with the military

What do you think pensions are? Social Security is all pension and it dwarfs anything paid out by the VA. Same with Medicare.

About the Wall Street Occupiers...I will quote John Lennon.

"You say you want a revolution, well, you know. We'd all love to see the plan."

What's the alternate plan? Show me.

Whose fault is it?

All of us. We let our federal government grow in leaps and bounds without the proper checks and balances.

If you asked Congress to show where in the Constitution where they were delegated the power to pass EVERY law on the books you'd find they abuse the same portions over and over again. "Regulate interstate commerce" and "borrow on the good faith and credit of the US" and "for the general welfare" (I'm paraphrasing). Those three phrases have created a bottomless pit of government agencies and debt.

Our founders NEVER envisioned a large federal government because it's cumbersome and inefficient. That's why the 10 Amendment says all rights not specifically written here are reserved to the states and the people. State and local governments are always more efficient due to their size and scope.

The only thing that will save us is a President and Congress who decide (together) to hack the Federal government to pieces and truly return the power to the states and the people. If you don't like the liberal iron fist government in California it's very easy to move to another state. If you don't like what the federal government is doing you're screwed unless you want to find a new country.

Think of it like a classroom. Is it easier to manage 5 kids (a state) or 250 (the nation)?
