Michael Huhn Accused Of Punching Child, Slashing Another

Florida authorities arrested a 56-year-old man on Sunday after he allegedly attacked three kids using a machete.
According to police records, Michael David Huhn offered the children three cans of soda in exchange for handling a little chore, the The Ocala Star-Banner reports. The task: flattening a pile of beer cans in Huhn's front yard.
The kids completed their duties, but police say Huhn didn't make good on his end of the bargain, only offering one can of soda when it was time to pay up. As a result, one of the children, a thirteen-year-old boy, confronted Huhn, who allegedly responded by hitting the boy with his trailer door and then punching him in the face.
Unintimidated, one of the children then smashed a headlight on Huhn's pickup truck, prompting Huhn to storm out of his trailer wielding a machete, which he allegedly used to strike a 10-year-old girl in the knee. The girl suffered a small cut, but was not seriously harmed, according to WESH-2.
Huhn is charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon and child abuse.
