Canadian Club is a "Canadian whisky" which is usually light and smooth. Canadian Whiskey is often a term used interchangeably with 'rye' because it used to be a staple ingredient.
Crown Royal is another pretty good one... but I'm sure most Americans here have heard of it, it's the top selling Canadian Whisky in the US.

It's a ghetto whiskey that we were all weaned off of once we reached the age of 18.
CC & 7 was a pretty common drink. As GF touched upon, anyone who drinks whiskey usually moves up to Crown Royal. That was my drink of choice in the hardcore boozer days

Tennessee whiskey is straight bourbon whiskey, most of the distilleries just don't market it as such.

It's all rye to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
:hand: Rye is just a grain like barely, it's an ingredient in some whiskey as well as some vodka....
..... as well as pumpernickel bread *goes to find sandwich*
