A Myrtle Beach man was arrested Monday morning after inviting an undercover police officer into his home to have sex with a woman.
Caid Kennedy Nobles, 29, is charged with prostitution and being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to police records.
The officer reported he was patrolling the area of Quinn Drive at 2:38 a.m. when he saw Nobles standing at the end of a driveway ‘jumping up and down and waving a flashlight at me,” according to the report.
Nobles asked the officer is he was looking for a girl and the officer told him “maybe.” Nobles told the officer he had a room in the house with ‘a clean bed and a clean girl with plenty of condoms,’ according to the report. The officer asked how much the act would cost and Nobles replied $50.
Once Nobles realized it was an undercover officer, he said he was ‘just joking’ and was not soliciting prostitution. Nobles told the officer he was going to ask the officer for a cigar so he could roll a joint, the report shows.
The woman in the home was not charged.
