you guys may not want to hear this...we have a guy in our town (in the SW, my neighborhood) who puts up 10 times the Christmas stuff as that guy above....the newspaper listed how many bulbs one year,
it was in the hundred thousands :shock:

his whole block becomes this slow moving parade of cars and people and his neighbors ARE PISSED :lol:

There was a family like this in the suburbs of Chicago. People would park all over the neighbourhood and walk around. His display was actually built up into the yard and could be walked through, like a proper tour. It drew massive crowds, sometimes you'd just drive by letting the slow traffic afford you a glimpse and not get out because the people were packed in. This was a quiet residential street mind you. I never heard anything about his neighbours hating it though.

I guess sometimes the Christmas spirit wins out.

Personally, if I lived near by, I'd hide just inside my curtains and video all the sweet teen girls.

I think they don't play the music out loud, they broadcast it through the radio. Less disturbing for the neighbors but I still would go nuts with the flashing lights and traffic after a few days....
