Don't believe the 3 year crap on battery life on the mouse ;)

But you should get at minimum 3 to 4 months of battery life, possibly longer, depending on usage. And if it is one of the mice with an on/off switch, it's always good to shut it off when not in use. The wireless Logitech I bought to use with my laptop does have an on/off switch, but the one that I got with my wireless desktop set doesn't. But that mouse does 'sleep' if it isn't moved after a certain amount of time.

My family has a genetic predisposition to opiate addiction, so I'm fucked. When I had my accident, and they put the plates/screws in me, they knocked me out, but upon waking up, all they gave me was acetaminophen*tylenol* and aspirin. They attempted to give me muscle relaxants when I went through physical therapy, but I wouldn't fill the prescription. It was hell. I know what you're going through, and I feel for you. That shit is like hell.

In layman's terms....my teeth felt like they were on fire from under the gums and my jaw was so swollen I couldn't close it.It was all nerve related so only one type of drug addressed it.I can't even list all of the weird symptoms my head goes through. From twitches or ticks to just plain white hot pain shooting through my face and neck. And the feeling of anxiety or nervousness was unreal..I was literally shaking when the pain hit bad..

 happy days...

I'm getting a bit of the nerve stuff through the back of my neck right now, my shoulder is almost seized up trying to accommodate. And this is from quitting weed for 6 whole days...I can hardly wait to see how bad it's gonna get

Oh yes...they say it has to be managed with drugs, there is no cure.I'm looking at about 10 prescription pill bottles right now  Of medication that's old and that I never take...

Smoking weed does something to mask the daily pain but that's not a long term option.Every time I quit though the muscular and nerve pain comes back full force and part of me is pretty pissed off I just can't sleep and eat normally without it.In fact, this past Saturday I was laying on the couch doing a whole lot of nothing, stretched my left arm up, something snapped in the back of my neck and that was it for the day.Couldn't move my neck or put my left arm over my head.Hot, hot pain shooting from the bottom of my ear down to my shoulderblade.Crippled for 8 hours because I stretched...how pathetic

Hey...didn't we agree not to do these pain contests in public? Seriously, I would take broken leg pain or migraines over this shit any day.At least you get breaks from it

For Loser:

I dare you to read all of this

Imagine your body is a car. You're sure something is wrong with wheels. So you go to hundreds of garages and each mechanic adjusts, removes or moves the wheels according to what they've been taught. The problem persists and gets worse. Then imagine that the real problem is discovered and it's the struts or the shocks, maybe something in the drive train. Now consider that wheels are permanent and you can't really buy new ones or change them like we normally do.All the prior work on the tires has made it almost impossible to get that vehicle back to a comfortable existence.Changing the drive train may cause the car never to work again or cripple it so badly, it becomes un-drivable.

Wheels are my teeth - from 2001 -2005 multiple appointments because of pain reactions.
Nerve in face is the struts or drive train - MRI's discovered that underlying problem is definitely nerve related.

struts cause wheels to behave improperly...

now read this  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigeminal_neuralgia

I've spent a decade thinking my teeth were fucked. They've had unnecessary root canals, 100's of occlusional adjustments with a drill and no freezing (shaving down teeth to adjust bite), teeth removed that were healthy (typical) and all sorts of muscle treatments from biofeedback techniques to chiropractors that adjust the jaw process from within my mouth (or try...).

Thousands of dollars, steadily increasing shitty symptoms and all because multiple dentists misdiagnosed the original problem.Even if they did catch it early, I would still be on a drug 'management' program.Once the nerve is damaged, they can't determine which branch is affected...I believe there's 6 million different, tiny nerve branches in your face....there is one crapshoot operation they do that inserts a pad between part of the large branch of the nerve and a blood vessels that bump into it.That's actually done towards the back of your neck where the trigeminal nerve originates.

They fear doing any operation because it could paralyze the entire side of the patient's face...I know because I've asked (begged) for it and was a candidate.I even said that I would sign a waiver absolving them of responsibility if something like that happened. Why? Because having no feeling is 10 times better that having this shit every day.

There...now you know hal and I won't do this again in public  I've been in fights, car accidents and had dental appointments that would make a grown man piss his pants, so there are causalities for the condition.I don't help myself by eating normally, trying to hold down a physical warehouse job, smoking etc....but I decided one dark night a few years back that if this is the best I get, I'm going to enjoy some of it.My teeth look normal and even 'good' to most people, I haven't had a cavity since I was 17.I have had 3 large teeth removed on the back left side of my mouth...healthy teeth. The norm for most T.N patients is getting all of their upper teeth removed due to the extreme pain symptoms that seem like cavities or teeth needing root canals. One of my worst symptoms that I hate is the swelling inside my mouth that feels like dental freezing. It's maddening because there's no cause and it comes and goes 10 times a day.My neck and shoulder get so bad that chiropractors give up because they can't get a 'release' sound

Still think there's a cure? Get back to me after reading the link. That is my diagnosis from the University of Alberta, Multi disciplinary Pain Clinic.I'm certified

Loser

Hal-9000

I have to bail...all that whining and bitching took a lot out of me

I hate it because it's called a silent or non visible disability.Half of the people I work with have no idea..but they know something is up because I get quiet or remove myself from certain activities.Girls I've dated take it personally no matter how I describe it to them...so I don't even try to explain anymore. Some people have it a lot worse than me, I've seen and met them at clinics. They are truly dysfunctional in life and are just waiting for it all to end.

One of the things from Wiki and other sources that applies to me (I don't know how far down you got in that mess of medical stuff) is that I get about 10 or 15 minutes every day right after I wake up, with absolutely no pain symptoms. It's the best and the weirdest time for me.I think - this is what other people feel like...maybe a bit tired or sore from sleeping wrong, but otherwise the day is full of potential and everything is possible.....then that goes away about the time I shower or move around too much or talk or eat or.......you get the idea.

State Farm always wants to charge me $300 more than what Geico does. They're good to have, but I don't want to go through that initial raping period where they charge me through the roof then as time goes on the payments get lower.

The reason State Farm is so good with payouts is because they were sued in a class action lawsuit some time ago (within the past decade). Anyway, they got caught screwing their policy holders over and the court put their feet to the fire.

How much liability do you guys buy?

I've had a lot of clients come from the US who are shocked to hear that most people in BC buy $2 million of third party liability (and that the minimum you may buy is $200k). Buuuut there are plenty of claims over the $1milllion mark these days, and if anything I'd except Americans to know that?

I'll ask my Mrs. when she comes back from work what's her experience (She does what GF does but is at Level 2). She recommends at minimum 2 Mil as well. I think it's something like $50 extra so I think it's kinda worth it since you're probably on the hook for a thousand dollars + anyway...

I think Canadians on the whole are a more cautious bunch, anyway.

You just gave MrsM a shot about buying winter tires, implying her driving skills weren't up to snuff. We have to have them in Canada, it's not an option. You get considerably less snow where you live so probably all seasons would suffice.I've found over the years chatting to a few people, it's all about what the city does vs annual snowfall.Coupled with - is your commute primarily on the highway or freeways, or is it through a city with snowbanks on the road? Highways tend to get cleared daily.I know a little about the subject, I've driven here for over 25 years without winter tires...had to buy them 3 or 4 years ago.

I was humming and hawing when buying my latest pc (1200 bucks) and my Dad of all people says - You're on it everyday, it's something you enjoy, it's your hobby...why not sink a few bucks and get what you want?
